Vijselaar History
Vijselaar was founded in 1947. At that time, we manufactured power supply equipment such as busbars, cable trolleys, insulators, and accessories. Initially, we supplied the Dutch industry, port companies, shipyards, and the Dutch steelworks.
However, in the early 1950s, demand from abroad increased, and we decided to open a branch in Paris. The French steelworks adopted the insulators produced by Vijselaar as a standard in their programs, making them the largest customer of Vijselaar's products during those years.
Our knowledge and experience grew alongside the company, and thirty years later, our network had expanded to the point where Vijselaar became a trusted trading house for industrial systems and components. In the mid-1970s, Eric joined the company, and a few years later, he took over the day-to-day management. It would take more than a decade before Eric became the owner of Vijselaar. During this period, he traveled extensively and met Fons Ferket.
Fons and Eric joined forces, and as a result, Vijselaar became the representative of Elektrokontakt for the Dutch market. This led to a fruitful collaboration and expansion in the Dutch market.
Vijselaar Industrial Systems & Components
Seventy years have passed, and Bogyi and Ivar have taken over the company, which is now called Vijselaar IS&C (Industrial Systems & Components B.V.).
Today, Vijselaar sells, produces, develops, and installs a wide range of industrial solutions, whether it's a simple component or a complete system.
In addition to being an OEM, Vijselaar is also an ODM. We design, manufacture, and, if desired, also offer installation services.
The needs of our customers are always our top priority. Providing peace of mind, delivering excellent service, and offering solutions-oriented thinking are core values that Vijselaar IS&C holds in high regard.
