Current collectors

Current collectors for the FABA 100 rail are available in various types and sizes. The EAS-L type is suitable for a continuous current of 20A at an ambient temperature of max. 40°C. This collector can handle speeds of up to 400m/min for applications with back-and-forth motion, where the contact surface is directed downwards or sideways, and for curves with a diameter of 500 mm or larger or a radius of 250 mm or larger.

The shorter version, the EAS-K, allows for a continuous current of 16A or 10A depending on the type of cable used, at a max. ambient temperature of 40°C. The EAS-K is suitable for speeds up to 200m/min under similar conditions as the EAS-L.

For continuous currents of 30A or 50A (at max. 40°C), the so-called "double-arm current collector," abbreviated as PAS-K and PAS-L, can be used. These collectors also handle speeds of up to 400m/min in back-and-forth applications, where the contact surface is directed downwards or sideways, and for curves with a radius of 500mm (or larger).

Both types of current collectors are available with silver brushes for DATA transmission.
